            Under the Namami Gange Programme, three agship wastewater infrastructure projects

            were honoured at the Build India Infra Awards 2026, reafrming National Mission for

            Clean Ganga’s commitment to sustainable river rejuvenation.
            The Bhatpara STP received a Special Mention for innovation, the Jagjeetpur STP was
            awarded  for  Social  Impact  Excellence,  and  Adani  Water  Ltd.  was  recognised  for
            strengthening wastewater infrastructure in Prayagraj.

            मं ालय और नमािम गंगे उ राख   ारा “ ज मैनेजम ट” िवषय पर एक िदवसीय काय शाला आयोिजत की गई।  फाउंडेशन और यमुना टा  फोस  के  सहयोग से आईटीओ छठ घाट पर यह अिभयान आयोिजत िकया गया।
            काय शाला म  उ राख  म   ज  बंधन की वत मान   ित की समी ा की गई तथा इससे जुड़ी चुनौितयो ं और
            संभावनाओ ंपर चचा   ई।
























            On  7th  March,  Sh  V  L  Kantha  Rao  addressed  the  workshop  on  “Restoring  and   On the World Water Day Conclave, during the Sludge Management Workshop, Sh V L
            Maintaining  the  Inter-Relationship  of  Surface  Flow  and  Sub-Surface  Systems,”   Kantha Rao highlighted the urgency of addressing sludge in urban water management.
            highlighting the need to translate scientic understanding into actionable interventions.  He emphasized that effective sludge management was essential to sustain river cleaning
                                                                  efforts, especially under the Namami Gange programme.
